Responsibilities:

  • Perform sheetmetal repair & assembly of aircraft structural components
  • Carry out sheetmetal repair, part forming, part replacement, major component assembly & disassembly
  • Able to use Alignment Jig / ASMJ for repairs
  • Submit daily labor hours correctly
  • Execute basic troubleshooting in repair / painting work
  • Clear routing upon job completion
  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to repair schemes / routing
  • Maintain high quality of work output and a safe 5S environment in the workshop

Requirements:

  • Min Nitec, Higher Nitec, Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering study
  • A team player with a positive work attitude and keen interest to learn
  • Candidates with relevant experience in carrying out composite / structural / painting & TIG welding work in the maintenance, repair & overhaul of nacelle components will have an added advantage
  • Prior painting experience in the Automotive industry will be considered
  • Able to read simple blue prints, repair instruction & sketches
