Job Information

Responsibilities:

  • Need to have a very good working knowledge of ALL the operation of an Owner’s operator or facility permit to work system.
  • Minimum of five years experience in a plant operations, or construction role at a refinery, chemical or power facility, one of which pertains to the administration of a total permit to work system that includes LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out) program for civil, mechanical, piping and E & I scopes of work.
  • Ability to work effectively with the owner’s staff, project management staff, construction supervisors and foreman, start-up staff, etc.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must speak and write English fluently, another local dialect would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact closely and frequently with client management and operations and maintenance personnel while maintaining necessary levels of commercial awareness.
  • Previous outage management experience is desired.
  • Previous construction supervisory experience is a desired.
  • Previous plant operations experience is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
