Responsibilities:

• Strong Knowledge in Postgres or MySQL is a must
• Design database Schema (the design must be optimized for very large & performance critical database)
• Database setting tuning for maximum performance
• Review and optimize SQL Query, Triggered & Store Procedure, Indexing
• Troubleshoot performance issues and recommend Solution
• Assist development team and management with database capacity and hardware resource planning.
• Create full replication for DB
• Create clustering for DB, consult on hardware requirements and etc.
• Perform Data Migration Work
• Maintenance work such as backup & recovery of DB, re-index DB and etc.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must be familiar with database design, tuning and optimization.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Data Warehouse Experience is a definite plus
• Required language(s): English.
