Bigfoot Entertainment is a fully integrated entertainment company specializing in four different areas; production (Bigfoot Productions), professional training (International Academy of Film and Television), production services (Bigfoot Production Services) and film financing (Bigfoot Partners). With newly constructed world-class production and post facilities in Southeast Asia, Bigfoot Entertainment produces quality independent feature films, television programming and educational content for international audiences. Public Relations Director

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Oversee all publicity activities;
  • 2. Develop and maintain good working relations with the media, including local and national newspapers, magazines, radio and television;
  • 3. Write and distribute all press releases;
  • 4. Work with the press on setting up advance stories, including cover stories, features, reviews and listings;
  • 5. Work with radio and TV stations to set up advance interviews;
  • 6. Update and develop press and media contact lists;
  • 7. Work with marketing team to develop and implement season press campaign and events;
  • 8. Organize special events, such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, tours, competitions and sponsorships;
  • 9. Act as a liaison with the press reps for any special appearance request;
  • 10. Develop community partners/relationships;
  • 11. Assist with any special press/promotional related events;
  • 12. Field and monitor press coverage and report results of the PR plan;
  • 13. Represent the company with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service-focused approach, and a caring, sincere attitude at all times. Exhibits a positive working attitude.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Mass Communications, Advertising/Media or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): communication, planning, organizing.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Lapu Lapu City,Cebu.
  • Preferably CEO/SVP/AVP/VP/Directors specializing in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
  • Contract position available.
